2. Account Registration and Eligibility

To use our Services, you must:

  • Accept full responsibility for all activities under your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach. We are not liable for losses arising from unauthorized use of your account.

2.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a risk to other users or our therapists.

3. Services and Bookings

3.1 Service Availability

We offer various therapy and wellness services including, but not limited to:

  • Strength and conditioning programs
  • First aid training and certification courses
  • Pediatric wellness classes
  • Sports massage and therapeutic treatments

Service availability may vary based on therapist schedules, location, and other factors. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time.

3.2 Booking and Appointments

When booking an appointment:

  • You must provide accurate medical history and health information
  • You agree to attend scheduled appointments or provide adequate notice of cancellation
  • You understand that appointment confirmation is subject to therapist availability
  • You acknowledge that emergency services are not provided through this Platform

3.3 Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

Cancellations and rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in fees or loss of booking privileges. Specific cancellation policies may vary by service type and will be communicated at the time of booking.

4. Medical Information and Consent

4.1 Medical Questionnaire

You are required to complete a medical questionnaire before receiving services. You must:

  • Provide truthful and complete medical information
  • Update your medical information if your health status changes
  • Disclose all relevant conditions, medications, and allergies
  • Inform your therapist of any changes before each session

4.2 Informed Consent

By booking and attending sessions, you provide informed consent for:

  • Treatment and therapy as recommended by qualified professionals
  • Storage and processing of your medical records
  • Sharing information with other healthcare providers when medically necessary

4.3 Limitations of Services

TherapyConnect does not provide emergency medical services. In case of a medical emergency, call 999 immediately. For non-urgent medical advice, contact NHS 111. Our services are complementary to, not a replacement for, primary healthcare services.

5. Payment and Fees

5.1 Pricing

Service prices are displayed on our Platform and may vary by service type, duration, and therapist. Prices are subject to change, but changes will not affect bookings already confirmed.

5.2 Payment Methods

We accept payment via credit card, debit card, and other methods displayed during checkout. Payment is processed securely through third-party payment providers. We do not store your complete payment card details.

5.3 Refund Policy

Refunds are issued according to our cancellation policy. Full refunds are typically available for cancellations made 24+ hours in advance. Refunds for no-shows or late cancellations are at our discretion. Processing of refunds may take 5-10 business days.

Our services adhere to NHS clinical guidelines and best practices, including:

6.3 Safeguarding

We are committed to safeguarding vulnerable individuals. All therapists undergo enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks. We have robust safeguarding policies and procedures in place, and staff are trained to recognize and report concerns.

7. User Responsibilities and Conduct

7.1 Acceptable Use

You agree to:

  • Use the Platform and Services lawfully and respectfully
  • Treat therapists and staff with courtesy and professionalism
  • Attend appointments on time and prepared
  • Follow treatment recommendations and safety instructions
  • Provide accurate information and update it when necessary

7.2 Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

  • Harass, threaten, or abuse therapists or staff
  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Use the Platform for fraudulent purposes
  • Attempt to access unauthorized areas of the Platform
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the Platform
  • Copy, modify, or distribute Platform content without permission

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of TherapyConnect or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content without our express written permission.

9. Liability and Disclaimers

9.1 Service Disclaimer

While we strive to provide high-quality services, we do not guarantee specific outcomes from therapy or wellness programs. Results may vary based on individual circumstances, commitment to treatment plans, and other factors beyond our control.

9.2 Platform Availability

We aim to maintain continuous Platform availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Platform may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues. We are not liable for any losses resulting from Platform downtime.

9.3 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TherapyConnect and its therapists shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our Platform or Services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

9.4 Medical Disclaimer

TherapyConnect provides wellness and therapy services but is not a substitute for emergency medical care or comprehensive primary healthcare. You should consult with your GP or other qualified healthcare providers for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment of serious conditions.

10. Data Protection and Privacy

Your personal and medical data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and GDPR regulations. By using our Services, you consent to the collection, use, and storage of your information as described in our Privacy Policy. We implement NHS-standard security measures to protect your data.

11. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

Our therapists are registered with professional bodies. If you have concerns about a therapist's conduct or clinical practice, you may also contact the relevant professional regulatory body.

11.3 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Platform. Your continued use of our Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you should discontinue use of our Services.

13. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your access to the Platform will cease, but we will retain your data as required by law and professional guidelines (typically 8 years for medical records).

We may terminate or suspend your access immediately if you breach these Terms, engage in prohibited conduct, or if required by law.
